Merle

I’ve had three corgis before little Merle joined our pack of 4 dogs….generally I expect them to be a handful but fun…well, because of Heather’s careful and committed and kind care little Merle is just FUN!!!! Truly have never seen a dog breeder like her…I call her the Corgi Doula…what a gift she is! And we have a corgi club at my place with Merle’s litter mates….so I can say he’s just as fabulous as his sisters and brother. Thank you Heather!

Daisy Mei

Having a corgi has been a long time dream of ours and when getting one from Heather, it felt like we’d been handed the world. Little did we know that our little world would shake things up so much. Thankfully Heather was there when ever we needed advice or help training her. Little Daisy has been a handful but such a joy. Building trust, spoiling her with snuggles and toys, and discovering new things every day with her on our journey. We are so happy to have her in our lives! Our sweet Daisy Mei! We are now in the process of adopting another Corgi pup from Heather’s most recent litter. Our amazing journey continues.

Carys

She was unique from the start, the only girl in the Christmas 2022 litter of boys (that’s her on the left of the pile). A peach in color and personality, in fact her first name was Peach. Heather longed to keep Peach in her family but needed to find her a forever home.

Our corgis have mostly had Welsh names, Brecon is named after the Brecon Beacons, a range of hills in the south of Wales. Carys is a Welsh girl’s name stemming from the word caru “to love”, it also echoes Tony’s mother’s Welsh name Dilys.

Brecon was surprised when she came to visit but never seemed to leave. After 7 years of him owning everything in the house, all the toys and people, now this little girl was taking ownership. He adjusted well and they became playmates.

Most Favorite words: treat, eat, walk, bed Least Favorite Words: no, stop, give me that!

Likes:
• Being with her litter mates
• Mealtime. Treats
• Good morning and good night rituals, involving lots of kisses
• Walks, twice a day, in fact, why walk when you can run
• Meeting people / dogs on the walk, she is so friendly
• Riding in the car
• Play-fighting with Brecon
• Utter relaxation
• Running circles on our little patch of lawn
• Tug of war with her toys
• Stealing anything she can get her mouth on, to sell for a treat
• Hunting. She has caught lizards, is fascinated when we trap mice or rats, and would love to catch a
rabbit (to keep as a pet)
• Ice, to eat. Water, in her paddling pool, and showers are fascinating
Dislikes:
• The garbage truck
• Coyotes, she would chase them off if she had the chance

Wilbur

I had such a great experience adopting our corgi Wilbur from Heather. When I first visited the puppies, it was love at first sight with Wilbur. Heather asked for his name very early on so that she could call him that and get him comfortable with his new name, which I found very thoughtful. She took exceptional care of the puppies until they were old enough to go to their new homes. They were all very healthy, up to date on all of their vaccines and medical needs, and Heather shared as many photos and videos as I wanted leading up to our pick up day. Everything was handled very professionally.

As for the puppy that we got, Wilbur has just surpassed our hopes and dreams for a dog. He is such a sweet boy and is incredibly smart. He was very easy to train. I was pregnant when I got him and he has handled the new baby in the house very well, I can tell he’s eager for her to grow up so they can run and play! If we decide to get another corgi (I’m working on convincing my husband), I will 100% go back to Heather to get him/her.

Emmy Lou

Heather’s love for and understanding of Corgis is evident from the moment you meet her (or talk with her.) She strives for and arranges for the healthiest puppies possible, making certain that each one is well-loved and handled constantly from the day they are born. (I know because we were blessed to participate in this from the first week ours’ was born!) The puppies and their mom live in a blissful environment with Heather and are potty-trained and comfy with other animals and children before going home with their new family.

Heather is careful with explaining the breed and their needs to the new family and is always available for questions. One of the biggest perks, besides an adorable and smart dog, is being welcomed into the local Corgi community. The pups and their owners participate in play dates, keeping the dogs well socialized and creating lasting friendships. If we were asked to rate Heather and her puppies in a scale from 1-5, we’d choose well over a 5!
